Powerpoint Workshop

Having done some slides on how the Arthurian legends fit for King Offa and Mercia I thought it would be good to have a resource where, if people wanted to produce a slide show of their own, they could get a ready formatted show and put in their own titles and pictures. So they could more easily get started and go on to work out their own timings and effects.

If you take one of my slides, eliminate most of the text in a text box, put your own text within it and then eliminate the remaining parts of the old text, you don't have to re-format it. Similarly with a picture box. So you would soon have a show ready to run.

The slides can be cut, copied and moved just like text in word processing. So copy an existing slide and change what you want to change. Then move it to where you want it in the sequence - or in another show. Just copy the slides like text.

So first make a duplicate of one of these shows, give it a new name then put together your own ideas in that format. To run your new show click 'Slide Show' and then 'View Show' and it will run until 'Esc' is pressed. ravishing

If you're not familiar with Powerpoint remember that to edit a slide you select the enlarged view of it with the controls at the lower left corner of the window.
